Lorita Travaglia

  Lorita graduated from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in December, 2000, having completed the three year course of 1,800 hours in  acupuncture and TCM internal medicine. She has since completed an internship with Li Xin Zhang, a 10th generation acupuncture master from China, who specializes in stroke and brain injury. She is certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine by the NCCAOM and is licensed in the State of Colorado.   Lorita has also studied Tai Qi and Qi Gong since 1995 and came to Chinese Medicine through her own experience with the healing and health promoting effects of acupuncture, Chinese herbs and these forms of martial arts. Her former career as a professional ballet dancer, in which balance and optimal physical condition were of prime importance, has given Lorita an in depth understanding of anatomy and the musculoskeletal system.

  She has a special interest in sports medicine and is the acupuncturist for the Colorado Ballet Company.  In addition, Lorita can help many women’s health issues, as well as general diseases in men, women and children. She is excited to be able to facilitate in improving one’s health and well being.
